Assistant Manager
About The Position
Levi Strauss & Co. is looking for an Assistant Store Manager who will be an integral part of the store management team. This role involves developing the store team and contributing to the successful implementation of strategies and operational excellence that ensure brand equity, customer satisfaction, and financial growth. The Assistant Manager will assume responsibility for the store in the absence of the Store Manager and/or Associate Store Manager. The ideal candidate will embrace originality and integrity, show empathy for customers and co-workers, demonstrate courage, and drive performance. They will support the leadership team in growing sales through strategy implementation and data analysis, act as a coach by mentoring and motivating team members, oversee daily operations for efficiency and high standards, and provide outstanding customer service to create a welcoming shopping environment.
Requirements
- 3+ years retail leadership experience.
- Proven skills in coaching and training.
- Exhibits discretion, professional judgment, tact, and diplomacy.
- Collaborative role model exhibiting behaviors aligned with company culture.
- Able to handle heavy lifting (up to 40 lbs.).
- Able to constantly move around, kneel, carry items, reach overhead, and climb ladders.
