About The Position

At Nothing Bundt Cakes, we bring joy to every guest through exceptional service, beautifully crafted cakes, and a welcoming bakery experience. As an Assistant General Manager, you will partner with the General Manager to oversee daily bakery operations, lead and develop team members, drive sales performance, and ensure an outstanding guest experience while maintaining our high standards for quality, food safety, and operational excellence.

Requirements

• 2+ years of management or supervisory experience in retail, restaurant, bakery, or food service environments
• Strong leadership, coaching, and team development skills
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Dependable, results-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards
• Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays as business needs require
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds

Nice To Haves

• Experience with scheduling, inventory management, and operational metrics preferred

Responsibilities

• Support the General Manager in overseeing all aspects of bakery operations
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve performance and service goals
• Assist with recruiting, hiring, onboarding, training, and scheduling staff
• Ensure exceptional guest service and promptly resolve guest concerns
• Monitor bakery performance, sales results, and labor costs to support business objectives
• Maintain compliance with food safety, sanitation, and company standards
• Oversee inventory management, ordering, receiving, and product quality
• Support opening and closing procedures, cash management, and daily reporting
• Foster a positive, engaging, and accountable team culture
• Serve as Manager on Duty and make operational decisions in the absence of the General Manager
