About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking customer orders (phone and in-person), inventory management, and cleaning. Training is provided on the job. The position requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math calculations, make correct monetary change, and use a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry. The work environment includes varying temperatures, potential exposure to dust and food odors, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Essential sensing abilities include talking, hearing, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and differentiating hot/cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work independently and with others, work under stress, meet quality standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks. Additionally, the role includes delivering products by car to customer doors, which requires a valid driver's license, a safe driving record, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to navigate various terrains and buildings while carrying product. This delivery aspect also involves exposure to varying weather conditions and requires far and night vision for driving.

Requirements

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
Must be able to make correct monetary change
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
