About The Position

As a Windsor Assistant Manager, you are a key member of our store leadership team. You support the team in driving our mission statement in your store. You are responsible, in partnership with your Store Manager, for achieving store productivity in terms of sales, shrink, payroll and expenses. You coach and motivate a high performing team of fashion loving Stylists while treating everyone with dignity and respect.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of retail management experience.
  • Proven leadership experience and an ability to develop and motivate a team of up to 25 employees.
  • Quick thinker and able to resolve issues as they arise with customers and associates.
  • Effective communicator in both a group setting and one on one.
  • Welcome feedback and are ready to improve always.
  • Flexible and reliable schedule, including opening and closing the store.
  • Must be able to count, communicate, read and write in English.
  • Must be able to access all areas of the store including selling floor, stock area and register area.
  • Must be able to operate and use all equipment necessary to run the store.
  • Must be able to climb ladders.
  • Must be able to move or handle merchandise or supplies throughout the store (generally weighing from 0-25 pounds).
  • Must be able to work varied hours/days to oversee store operations.

Responsibilities

  • Drive sales to ensure the overall success of the store.
  • Build brand loyalty by providing an omni channel Oasis experience to every customer.
  • Provide feedback to do more with less and create value for the brand.
  • Support the Store Manager in finding the right talent and consistently making new networking connections to ensure your store has a wide talent pool.
  • Ensure an exceptional onboarding experience that supports the store’s retention goals.
  • Organize and plan in detail to get the job done.
  • Own the sales floor to ensure daily operations are executed and the Oasis is created for customers.
  • Partner with the Store Manager to supervise and conduct training with the team.
  • Lead by example, communicate clearly and foster a culture of continuous improvement with stylists through recognition, coaching, feedback, and utilizing company tools and programs.
  • Follow all Windsor policy and procedures.
  • Support the execution of the Windsor Merchandising Directive.
  • Maintain a neat, clean and tidy store in compliance with Windsor’s Visual Guidelines and make smart merchandising decisions.
