About The Position

The Assistant Manager role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Team members are provided with on-the-job training. Key skills include communication, basic math, and motor coordination. The role requires the ability to work in various conditions, including different temperatures and potential exposure to fumes and dust. Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, climbing, stooping, bending, crouching, squatting, reaching, driving for deliveries, and continuous hand use. Team members may also be required to use specific tools and equipment.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Must have a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Standing for extended periods.
Walking for short distances for short durations.
Lifting cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Carrying large cans (3 lbs, 7 oz), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of pizza dough (approx. 12 lbs per tray).
Pushing to move trays on dollies (up to 7.5 lbs force).
Climbing stairs or ladders infrequently.
Stooping/Bending forward at the waist.
Crouching/Squatting occasionally.
Reaching continuously (up, down, and forward).
Driving for deliveries.
Eye-hand coordination is essential.
Use of hands is continuous during the day.
Frequent and/or forceful pinching for assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
Ability to grasp cans, phone, pizza cutter, pizza peel, and pizza boxes.

Nice To Haves

Navigating adverse terrain including multi-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product.
Navigating five or more flights of stairs during delivery of product.
Shaping pizza dough requires frequent and forceful use of forearms and wrists.
Manipulate a pizza peel when removing pizza from the oven, and when using the rolling cutter.
