This role involves the operation of all equipment, stocking and rotating ingredients from delivery to storage/work area/walk-in cooler, preparing products, receiving and processing telephone and internet orders, counting inventory and completing paperwork, and cleaning equipment and the facility. The position requires customer service skills, including the ability to communicate verbally and in writing with customers and co-workers over the phone and in person. Delivery skills are also necessary, involving the ability to safely drive one's own vehicle, navigate roads and maps, and handle adverse terrain/stairs while carrying products. Essential skills include accurate mathematical calculations for making correct monetary change, with the potential use of a calculator.
