About The Position

This role involves operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, and handling customer orders. Responsibilities include receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, completing paperwork, and maintaining cleanliness of equipment and the facility. The position requires on-the-job training, strong communication skills for interacting with customers and coworkers, and the ability to perform various tasks accurately and efficiently. Essential functions include mathematical calculations, making correct monetary change, using a computer keyboard or touch screen for order entry, and possessing good motor coordination. The work environment includes exposure to varying weather conditions, temperature fluctuations, food odors, dust, cramped spaces, hot surfaces, sharp edges, and moving mechanical parts. Sensory requirements include talking and hearing on the telephone, near and mid-range vision, depth perception, and the ability to distinguish hot and cold surfaces. Temperaments required include the ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work alone and with others, work under stress, meet quality control standards, deal with people, analyze data, and make judgments and decisions. Physical demands include prolonged standing, walking, lifting up to 60 pounds, carrying, pushing, climbing stairs, stooping/bending, crouching/squatting, and continuous use of hands for various tasks. Additionally, the role may involve delivering products by car to customer doors, requiring a valid driver's license, access to an insured vehicle, navigational skills, and the ability to carry products while walking and climbing stairs. Driving involves far and night vision.

Requirements

  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between wywe and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make presice movements with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Valid Driver License with safe driving recor meeting company standards
  • Access to insured vehicle which can be used for delivery
  • Navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area
  • Must navigate adverse terrain including multy-story buildings, private homes, and other delivery sites while carrying product
