About The Position
The Assistant Manager reports to the Store Manager and assists with all aspects of store operations, providing leadership that optimizes sales results. The role promotes a positive shopping experience and leads and inspires a high-performing team to improve operational efficiency and traffic on the sales floor and through digital platforms. The Assistant Manager contributes to daily store operations, inventory management, sales growth, and customer satisfaction while maintaining brand and visual merchandising standards. Responsibilities also include processing shipments, replenishing the sales floor, and fulfilling e-commerce orders.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Two years of management experience, preferably in a fashion clothing environment.
- Passion for fashion, an outgoing personality, and a commitment to exceptional customer service.
- Organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Flexibility, innovation, and a sense of urgency in identifying and responding to changing business conditions; ability to contribute impactful ideas and solutions.
- Ability to promote an environment that encourages participation, creativity, and learning by sharing best practices and building on others’ ideas.
- Ability to build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
- Social media and mobile device skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel) or OpenOffice.
- Availability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as business needs require.
