About The Position

Gibbs Oil has an opening for a Convenience Store Assistant Manager in Worcester, MA. The basic duties for this position include, but are not limited to; All aspects of assisting the manager with the day to day running of the station, station appearance, completing both daily and shift paperwork, completing counts, stocking, ordering and keeping the location fully stocked at all times, customer service, cleaning, shift coverage and training employees. Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience as a retail assistant manager or shift leader
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and/or nights, if needed
  • Able to drive as needed and has a valid driver's license
  • Comfort with standing for extended periods of time
  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds

  • Completion of all required day to day paperwork and required daily documentation, and running of the location when the manager isn't present
  • Experience with shift supervision, including ensuring the location is always adequately staffed and covering operations when in charge
  • Order and receive merchandise utilizing ordering guidelines and build-to books
  • Assist in training and developing station employees
  • Ability to work weekends, holidays and/or nights, if needed
  • Able to drive as needed and has a valid driver's license
