About The Position

The Assistant Manager role involves a variety of tasks including operating equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, taking phone orders, inventory management, and cleaning. Team members are responsible for ensuring the store runs smoothly and efficiently. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to perform basic math, and excellent motor coordination. The work environment can involve varying temperatures, exposure to dust and fumes, and requires physical stamina for tasks like standing, walking, lifting, carrying, pushing, and climbing.

Requirements

Must be 18 years of age.
Must possess a valid driver's license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.
Must have access to an insured vehicle which can be used for delivery.
Must possess navigational skills to read a map, locate addresses within designated delivery area.
Must be able to navigate adverse terrain including multi-story buildings.
Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.
Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator).
Must be able to make correct monetary change.
Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.
Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.
Standing for most tasks.
Walking for short distances for short durations.
Lifting cases of ingredients and supplies weighing up to 50 pounds.
Carrying large cans, pizza sauce, and trays of pizza dough.
Pushing to move trays on dollies.
Infrequently navigate stairs or climb a ladder.
Forward bending at the waist.
Crouching/Squatting performed occasionally.
Reaching continuously; up, down and forward.
Eye-hand coordination is essential.
Use of hands is continuous during the day.
Frequent and/or forceful pinching is required in the assembly of cardboard pizza boxes.
Must be able to grasp cans, the phone, the pizza cutter and pizza peel, and pizza boxes.
