About The Position

The Assistant Manager is responsible for operating all equipment, stocking ingredients, preparing products, using proprietary technology, receiving and processing telephone orders, taking inventory, cleaning equipment and the facility, orienting and training new hires, making schedules, staffing the store, running food and labor costs, and ensuring effective team leadership. This role requires strong communication skills, the ability to comprehend and give instructions, and the ability to verbally communicate with customers and co-workers.

Requirements

  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (may use calculator)
  • Must be able to make correct monetary change
  • Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders
  • Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to make precise movements rapidly and accurately with speed
  • Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen
  • Talking and hearing on the telephone
  • Near and mid-range vision for most in-store tasks
  • Depth perception
  • Ability to differentiate between hot and cold surfaces
  • The ability to direct activities, perform repetitive tasks, work along and with others, work under stress, meet strict quality control standards, deal with people, analyze and compile data, make judgments and decisions
  • All employees must use any and all Domino’s technology implemented by the Company
  • All drivers must use the Driver app
  • All CSR must make use of the Dominos Digital Shoulder surf (DSS)
  • All employees must use the Domino’s Car Side Delivery

Responsibilities

  • Operate all equipment
  • Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, walk-in cooler
  • Prepare all products
  • Use all proprietary technology
  • Receive and process telephone orders
  • Take inventory and complete associated paperwork
  • Clean equipment and facility approximately daily
  • Responsible for Orientation to any new hires as well as continued on the job training for all other employees on store products and procedures
  • Responsible for inventory counts
  • Responsible for making the schedule and staffing the store
  • Responsible for running food and labor while they are in charge of their shift
  • Must have good communication Skills in order to lead an effective team
  • Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions
  • Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co-workers to process orders both over the phone and in person
