About The Position

As an Assistant Manager, Sales Development Direct Sales you will support our senior management team in all direct sales functions. The ideal candidate will be well versed in the direct sales process, including specialized skills for qualifying merchants along with a well-versed understanding of Salesforce, NICE and other applications used by the direct sales organization. You will be called upon to coach, delegate and motivate team members. As a member of the management team your focus will be to inspire team members while ensuring productivity and quality performance in order to achieve our long-term company vision.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent work experience
  • 1-2 years’ experience in sales or corporate management roles
  • Experience conducting performance reviews
  • Strong leadership, communication, and collaboration skills
  • Competency with CRM software, Salesforce is preferred
  • Knowledge of inventory management
  • Experience with dialer systems, NICE preferred
  • Ability to lead team-building initiatives

Responsibilities

  • Gain a complete understanding of specific goals, objectives, and targets
  • Liaise with the Sales Trainer to help build a well-developed and high-performing team that works together effectively
  • Collaborate with the team to ensure the company is providing consistently excellent service, and that the work environment is inviting
  • Set employee objectives to achieve and exceed company productivity and sales goals
  • Adhere to department policies and procedures, monitor team performance and report on progress to upper management
  • Inspire and create a motivating environment through coaching, mentoring, and enablement
  • Partner with senior manager to ensure quality customer service and help supervise team members who have diverse talents and responsibilities
  • Meet regularly with senior manager to develop and report on strategic plans for team objectives
  • Aid senior managers in ensuring that all leads and opportunities are actively being followed up with
  • Fill in for senior managers as needed to oversee team members, coordinate schedules and lead management while adhering to targets
  • Monitor quality assurance, reporting any problems, incidents, or equipment trouble to senior manager
  • Assist in the hiring, performance management, and evaluation of team members and conduct monthly employee reviews
  • Will maintain some responsibility of a Sales Development Representative I to aide in business generation
  • Inspire and create a motivating environment through coaching, mentoring, and enablement
  • Provide opportunities to participate in both formal and informal developmental activities
  • Working with senior leaders and department head, set expectations for all team members and hold employees accountable for results
  • Lead hiring, performance management, and compensation, and evaluation of team members
  • collaborate with Kapitus leadership and HR to continually refine and modify career growth and succession plans to meet changing business needs
