About The Position

Job Summary:# Provides leadership, manages, and coordinates activities of assigned nursing departments.# Provides direct patient care to patients in INU and CVSS. Responsible for the coordination of #patient care and departmental activities consistent with the corporate, division, and departmental mission statement and values.# Works collaboratively with members of the Cardiac and Procedural Nursing leadership team.## Qualifications:# Current RN license to practice in NC (NC licensure or multi-state (compact) license).### BSN preferred.# Will consider candidates actively enrolled in BSN program.# Specialty certification preferred.# If not certified upon employment, will obtain applicable and approved certification within 1 year of employment.# Two years progressive nursing experience in an acute hospital with outstanding leadership skills documented.# Thorough knowledge of specialty nursing principles, methods, and techniques.# Able to deal tactfully and collaborate with staff, patients, physicians, ancillary professional, and families.# Considerable ability to manage, coach, and provide motivated environment.# Current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS required. Requirements
