About The Position

The Assistant Coach of Social Media and Community Connections is a hybrid leadership role dedicated to operational excellence, social media engagement, and community impact. This leader supports both Chick-fil-A Bridgewater Falls and Chick-fil-A Fairfield by developing Team Members, representing our brand in the community, and creating engaging digital content that reflects Chick-fil-A's mission to Win Hearts Every Day.

  • 8-10 hours weekly for social media, administrative, and community engagement

Responsibilities

  • Daily uphold procedures and restaurant policies; ensure proper execution in order taking, hospitality behaviors, speed, and accuracy while providing ongoing feedback to Team Members.
  • Protect the customer experience by ensuring packaging, food presentation, and quality meet or exceed Chick-fil-A standards.
  • Ensure the restaurant consistently meets cleanliness standards (BOH, Drive-Thru, Front Counter, Dining Room, Restrooms, etc.).
  • Train and/or support trainers in onboarding new Team Members during their first week(s) of employment.
  • Complete training logs and hold others accountable for completion.
  • Stay up to date and assist with training on all new product rollouts and procedural changes.
  • Continuously coach and develop existing Team Members to promote growth and excellence.
  • Support catering execution through leadership, planning, and alignment with service and presentation standards.
  • Conduct daily Safe Audits and ERQA's.
  • Manage and oversee catering orders.
  • Order trucks and produce as needed.
  • Assist with month-end inventory counting.
  • Assign and count cash pouches.
  • Set up and prepare both Face-to-Face and outdoor drive-thru lanes, including expo sauces.
  • Report or resolve drive-thru equipment and IT issues.
  • Oversee PPE needs to ensure OSHA weather compliance.
  • Handle guest refunds and resolve guest issues or complaints appropriately.
  • Assign and manage registers/drawers.
  • Answer phones and respond or delegate guest inquiries appropriately.
  • Take catering phone orders, enter them into POS, post for delivery drivers, and execute catering orders.
  • Order change funds and ensure accuracy in drawer counts.
  • Count drawers and complete opening/end-of-day money handling.
  • Create and manage content calendars for both Chick-fil-A Fairfield and Bridgewater Falls.
  • Develop and post engaging, brand-aligned content highlighting team culture, guest experience, and community initiatives.
  • Partner with leadership on digital campaigns, promotions, and recruitment posts.
  • Track guest engagement and feedback across social media platforms to inform strategy.
  • Collaborate with the Positivity Coordinator and leadership team on special projects and creative campaigns.
  • Represent Chick-fil-A at schools, festivals, and local events with excellence and professionalism.
  • Build partnerships and plan community involvement activities that promote care and goodwill.
  • Coordinate fundraising and donation initiatives with local organizations and non-profits.
  • Extend hospitality beyond the restaurant through team events, service projects, and community outreach.
