About The Position

The Assistant Manager, National Media role will support Newell’s Home & Baby brands by managing advertising campaigns and ensuring alignment with business goals across various channels and partners. This individual will collaborate with cross-functional teams to create data-driven strategies, optimize media spend and deliver impactful performance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for digital marketing, strong analytical skills and ability to think outside the box.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in digital marketing, eCommerce, or retail media; experience with Social Advertising platforms is highly preferred.
  • Strong data and analytical background
  • Experience in Paid and Organic social, SEM, CTV, Programmatic Display management
  • Ability to operate independently given direction and brings ideas and solutions to issues raised
  • Ability to work effectively and collaboratively across multiple lines of business, influential amongst peers to drive change
  • Detail-oriented and operationally focused to drive efficiency
  • Demonstrated maturity, problem solving skills, and constructive approach to challenges
  • Takes initiative & brings impeccable follow-up skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives and assignments simultaneously

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working in a media agency, consumer packaged goods (CPG), fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG), consumer durables industry, and/or Retail strongly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support Marketing Manager in creating and executing paid marketing strategies across platforms like social media, search, CTV, and programmatic
  • Assist in managing A&P budgets by understanding how digital spends impact the business
  • Regularly update and track performance reports, monitoring KPI performance for national and DTC campaigns to help maximize results
  • Perform data analysis to assist in optimizing and scaling national media and DTC campaigns
  • Help with budget pacing to ensure accuracy and identify opportunities for increased performance
  • Contribute data-driven insights and results to stakeholders, aligning with overall marketing and business objectives
  • Assist in testing and learning to identify the best performing audiences, creative, promotions, and messaging across different seasons and product categories
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and changes in CTV, Paid Search, and Paid Social, including new features and platform updates
  • Exhibit a strong understanding of social media, including content planning and publishing. Support the day-to-day management of brand-owned social channels
  • Help develop social strategies by managing organic social channel objectives, tone of voice, platform priorities, post cadence, and key performance indicators
  • Support efforts to improve organizational processes, reporting templates, data analysis, and media planning
