About The Position

Support the Production team by working in a safe, customer-focused manner; and must be highly self motivated and customer-centric utilizing High Liner Operating System to manage the business. Develop and design innovative solutions to difficult problems, manage outside contractors and be on call for emergencies. Handle multiple internal and externally sponsored projects and daily activities, manage to and meet deadlines, and develop & track plans on how to accomplish maintenance activities. Mentor all facilities associates by motivating and providing direction to help them achieve their developmental goals and make a consistent effort to go above and beyond. Work with Maintenance Manager & Finance team to develop, set and track budgets. Assist management team with capital spending plans, facilitate cross-functional project planning and verify project completion. Manages work orders in the system, ensure proper creation, planning, update, and closure of work orders. Measure and publish facility KPI metrics to the management team, interpret data, present findings and recommend corrective actions. Develop and maintain preventative maintenance programs and good working relationships with operations leadership. Responsible for daily management of assets, work planning, and spare part inventory. Manage spare parts inventory, assist management, with work plans and auditing as required.

Requirements

  • Five (5) plus years experience in a maintenance environment, preferably food manufacturing environment
  • Previous supervisor experience in a team oriented work environment
  • Previous experience a maintenance planner/scheduler working within an industrial maintenance complex, manufacturing/distribution industry, or related field
  • Previous data analysis experience in the facilities maintenance program, specifically in asset management and spare part optimization
  • Bachelors Degree in technical discipline, operations, business administration, or related field. Or Associate Degree and equivalent experience
  • Experienced in the use of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
  • Knowledgeable in Food Safety requirements and procedures
  • Knowledgeable of OSHA and EPA regulations
  • Knowledge of related maintenance principles , including but not limited to: Fluid Power, Industrial Electric Power, PLC Controls, Building Construction & Design
  • Familiarity with public utility services & contract
  • Familiarity with Wastewater Treatment & Waste Management
