We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, helping customers in a positive and approachable manner, organizing and transferring merchandise, performing opening and closing procedures, and processing corporate directives. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for maintaining promotional effectiveness of store-front fixtures and displays, assisting in ordering merchandise, processing damaged merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, and cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention. Maintaining store areas to company standards, protecting company assets, and adhering to policies and procedures including safety guidelines are also key. The position requires helping the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates, ensuring a positive, safe, and respectful environment. Additionally, the role includes maintaining cleanliness throughout the store, such as cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, and taking out trash.
