We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with store functions and day-to-day activities, including customer interaction, merchandise handling (organizing, transferring, maintaining seasonal areas), and performing opening/closing procedures. The position also requires processing corporate directives, maintaining promotional displays, assisting with ordering, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash), and loss prevention. Key responsibilities include maintaining store standards for sales floor and stockroom, securing company assets, adhering to safety guidelines, and ensuring associates follow policies. The Assistant Store Manager will support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing staff, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring overall store cleanliness. Additionally, the role may require providing background information for specialized licenses to sell alcohol and/or tobacco.
