We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with store functions, day-to-day activities, and ensuring a positive environment for customers and associates. The Assistant Manager will also be involved in merchandise handling, processing corporate directives, maintaining store displays, ordering merchandise, record keeping (including payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits and receipts), and loss prevention. A key aspect of the role is to help the Store Manager supervise, train, and develop Store Associates. The position also requires maintaining store cleanliness throughout the store, including cleaning and restocking bathrooms, sweeping and mopping floors, taking out the trash, and ensuring all areas are neat and presentable, as well as adhering to company policies and safety guidelines.
