We are seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team, focusing on store operations, customer service, and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store activities, positively interacting with customers, and managing merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, including maintaining seasonal areas. The Assistant Store Manager will be responsible for performing opening and closing procedures, processing corporate directives, and ensuring the effectiveness of store-front displays. Key duties also include assisting with merchandise ordering, processing damaged goods, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash register deposits/receipts), and loss prevention. The position requires maintaining store areas to company standards, securing company assets, and adhering to safety guidelines. A significant part of the role is to support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, fostering a positive, safe, and respectful environment. Additionally, the Assistant Store Manager is responsible for maintaining overall store cleanliness, including bathrooms, floors, and trash removal.
