We’re seeking an Assistant Store Manager to join our team to help with store operations, customer service and team development. This role involves assisting with day-to-day store functions, positively interacting with customers, and managing merchandise from delivery to the sales floor, including maintaining seasonal displays. The Assistant Manager will perform opening and closing procedures, process corporate directives, and ensure the promotional effectiveness of store fixtures. Key responsibilities also include assisting with merchandise ordering, processing damaged goods, record keeping (payroll, scheduling, cash deposits), and loss prevention. The position requires maintaining store standards for cleanliness and organization, protecting company assets, and adhering to safety guidelines. Furthermore, the Assistant Manager will support the Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates, fostering a positive and respectful environment for customers and colleagues, and ensuring overall store cleanliness.
