Steinbach Credit Union is seeking an Assistant Manager, Compliance for a 6-12 month term. This role will assist with the implementation of operational plans, drive business results, and ensure compliance with the PCMLTFA and SCU's Policy & Procedures within the Compliance department. The Assistant Manager will partner with the Manager, Compliance to ensure team communication, meet service level agreements, and achieve goals. This position involves developing and modeling knowledge of credit union policies, acting as a liaison with external agencies, maintaining and executing the SCU Compliance program, identifying and implementing process improvements, and fostering a strong team environment. The role also includes providing day-to-day leadership to the audit team, offering guidance to the Compliance department, directing on member and risk-related issues, and acting as a liaison with other departments.
