Assistant Manager – Day Program Supports the program manager in developing and leading community-based activities tailored to the interests and needs of individuals served, including initiatives like self-advocacy and Special Olympics. Oversees integration into broader events, ensures timely documentation, and provides training and guidance to enrichment staff. Some evening and weekend hours required. Our Mission at Mountain Valley Developmental Services is to encourage and support individuals with developmental disabilities, enhance their ability to live, learn, and work in an independent and inclusive manner, and to educate the community about their contributions and capabilities. MVDS supports adults and children in Eagle, Garfield, Lake and Pitkin counties with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD). Our work provides life span services for these individuals, their parents and family members, guardians, colleagues at work, neighbors, and friends to promote independence, quality of life, and rights protection. We take pride in our person-centered care and deep commitment to supporting persons with developmental disabilities.
