Requirements

Current RN license (Montana or compact state)
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing
Experience in admissions and at least 2 years in healthcare, behavioral health, or inpatient care
Strong leadership, communication, and critical-thinking skills
Ability to thrive in a dynamic environment and support staff through challenging situations
Familiarity with EHR systems and regulatory standards

Previous leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

Provide direct supervision, coaching, and performance management for a dedicated clinical admissions team.
Oversee referrals, admissions, transfers, and discharges to ensure timely, accurate, and patient-centered transitions.
Review documentation, assessments, and initial treatment plans for accuracy and compliance.
Offer clinical guidance and escalation support for complex or urgent admissions.
Participate in audits, monitor regulatory standards, and champion best practices.
Work closely with nursing, medical staff, and leadership to optimize throughput and enhance patient experience.
Support families, uphold patient rights, and promote culturally responsive care.
