The USGA's Championship Administration Team is a collaborative group of eight that oversees the in-house administration and planning details that support the successful execution of 15 National Championships. We are the beginning of the player journey - managing the Championship entry platform and a high volume of player inquiries through our commitment to excellent customer service. The team operates across four key pillars, each held to a high standard of execution: customer service, exemptions and exemption events, Championship equipment, and IT. A primary function within Championship Administration is working collaboratively with 55 Allied Golf Associations to conduct approximately 650 USGA Qualifiers each year. We work in close partnership with our Championships Department to support the Championship experience for all. We are looking for a teammate with an interest or background in golf administration and a strong attention to detail to join our team. We are building for the next chapter of Championship Administration and are looking for someone energized by the details that build defining moments in USGA Championship history. The USGA's Championship Administration team is responsible for the in-house preparation and administration of USGA championships, including entries, exemptions, qualifying and equipment. The Assistant Manager, Championship Administration will manage the in-house administration of the U.S. Junior Amateur and U.S. Senior Amateur Championships, which includes entries, exemptions, and qualifying. This role will oversee the Championship and AGA qualifying equipment in partnership with Amateur Operations. In addition, this role will provide support for fulfilling the overall customer service objectives of the department.
