Wizards of the Coast is looking for an Assistant PR Manager to help worldwide public relations and communication efforts for Magic: The Gathering, Dungeons & Dragons, and our rapidly growing portfolio of digital games! The Assistant PR Manager partners with Senior PR staff, collaborates with regional teams, and supports presence at key video game and tabletop industry events. We work closely with PR, marketing, and agency partners to secure earned media and strengthen our brands’ storytelling for fan and mainstream audiences. This role requires strong writing skills, organization, creativity, and a collaborative spirit across multiple teams. A typical day as an Assistant Manager, Brand Communications & Publicity: PR Campaign Support: Assist Senior PR Managers with daily responsibilities related to publicity programs and initiatives. Event Planning, Staffing, & Coordination: We support media relations strategies, including agency plans and special events, to secure press coverage across diverse outlets. Coordinate press activity for product launches, fan events, press-only product previews, and brand publicity moments Brand Communications Team Support: Help the group with administrative tasks such as coordinating product mailings, ordering products, maintaining a shared calendar of PR activity, opening purchase orders for projects, drafting, editing and routing press materials, monitoring and reporting media results.
