Requirements

  • High School Diploma
  • Fluent English
  • Valid Driver's License
  • Direct supervisory experience of greater than 5 people
  • Lift up to 75 lbs
  • Basic computer skills including MS Office

Nice To Haves

  • Light duty equipment operation ( 2 years )
  • Outdoor winter environment experience
  • Landscaping / Irrigation / Flower / Guest service / Waste Diversion/ Plow experience
  • Early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays will be required.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the oversight of the guest arrival, parking, security and resort uniform operations on a year round basis.
  • Ensure quality results of our daily maintenance tasks, operational duties, and special projects.
  • Provide exceptional guest service to internal and external customers.
  • Promote a safe and positive work environment for employees.
  • Work as a team to ensure 7 days a week coverage and continuity between crews.
  • Responsible for ensuring that safety is paramount in all operations, including vehicle and equipment operations and overall safety of our base areas.
  • Train all staff in proper vehicle and equipment operations, company policies and procedures and monitor departmental compliance in these aspects.
  • Train teams to be able to confidently and safely perform their job duties.
  • Ensure all vehicles, equipment, tools and work areas are clean, safe, and properly maintained.
  • Work with department Senior manager to develop, prioritize, and effectively implement the departmental goals and objectives.
  • Assisting the Senior Base Area Manager with managing time and labor, performance reviews and performance management for all team members in the department
  • Manage a winter team consisting of up to 15 employees and a summer staff of up to 4 employees.
  • Assist with Spring Summer Fall grounds maintenance
  • All other duties as assigned
