About The Position
The Tipton Group is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join their team in Denton, TX. This role is crucial for maintaining the overall maintenance and appearance of a 240-unit apartment community, ensuring resident satisfaction through day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep. The position involves being on-call for emergencies and performing various maintenance tasks.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED Required
- At least two years of experience
- Provide/use of own tools
- Maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors and maintenance staff
- Possess basic knowledge of HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems
- Availability to be on call after hours and weekends
Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall maintenance and appearance of a 240-unit apartment community for current and prospective residents.
- Responsible for day-to-day maintenance operations and general upkeep of the community.
- Be on-call for 24-hour maintenance emergencies.
- Complete grounds work such as trash pick-up and light landscaping.
- Assist with various types of maintenance: Electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting and preventative.
