About The Position

Chipotle is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Technician to join their team. This role involves performing preventative maintenance audits, completing service calls, learning new trades, partnering with vendors, and managing budgets. The technician will also identify capital improvement needs, source parts, manage service requests, and ensure administrative deadlines are met.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required.
• Clean Motor Vehicle Report required
• 0-1 years’ experience in related field
• 1+ year(s) of experience in the restaurant industry
• Mechanically inclined
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
• Must be able to use ladders on a frequent basis.
• Must be able to work independently for much of the day.
• Must be able to plan and organize schedules and stick to the plan.
• Must be able to effectively communicate through email and or phone conversations.

Nice To Haves

• Trade School Certificate preferred
• EPA Certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform four Preventative Maintenance Site Audits in each assigned location annually
• Complete reactionary service calls in a timely and cost-effective manner
• Continue to learn additional trades contributing to higher in-house repairs
• Partner with local and national vendors to ensure work is completed is to Chipotles' standards
• Collaborate with sub-regional leadership team to have a unified purpose and vision inside our locations
• Manage direct M&R budget of assigned locations
• Work directly with Apprentice Facilities Manager or Facilities manager to identify capital improvement needs. Get quotes for such items and after installation validate quality and workmanship
• Source, organize and track parts and inventory for needed repairs
• Manage Service Channel requests to ensure all items are entered and closed out correctly, give SC training to restaurants when needed
• Partner with Facilities Support Team to ensure requests are assigned and completed in efficient manner
• Meet all administrative deadlines when it comes to mileage, Pcards, Inventories, and Tru-ups.
