About The Position

Robbins Property Associates, a national multi-family management company, seeks a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Maintenance Supervisor to join our Team. Along with the Property Manager and the Maintenance Supervisor, the Assistant Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the physical assets, general maintenance repairs, apartment make-readies, preventive maintenance and construction or rehabilitation projects for an apartment community. Responsible for maintaining adequate inventory of supplies for repairs and assisting with the monthly maintenance budget monitoring as well as back-up to the Maintenance Supervisor.

Requirements

HVAC certification required

Nice To Haves

Prefer four years’ experience

Responsibilities

Understand and comply with Fair Housing laws and standards
Interact with residents and vendors in a friendly, inviting, and professional manner
Perform HVAC Maintenance, Repair and Replacement
Perform Appliance, General Plumbing and Electrical Repairs
Perform General Apartment Make Ready
Perform Painting, Minor Carpentry and Drywall Repairs
Participate in on-call rotation which may result in evening, weekend and holiday coverage
Assist in the maintenance and upkeep of buildings, common areas and grounds
Participate in apartment turn-key process, service requests and preventative maintenance programs
Contribute to the organization and inventory control of the Maintenance Shop and other storage areas
Apply all safety standards and practices associated with maintenance operations
