Requirements

High School diploma / GED.
3 - 4 Years: Commercial or Multi-unit Property experience.
Computer and smart phone literacy.
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
Valid Driver's License (depending on property needs).

Nice To Haves

Multilingual skills.
HVAC certification (depending on property needs).
Electrical certification (preferred).
Appliance certification (preferred).

Responsibilities

Supervises and coordinates efforts of the maintenance staff, recommending new hires, discipline, and contributing to performance appraisals.
Responsible for training, coaching, and communications to the maintenance staff.
Performs or assigns work to repair and maintain mechanical equipment, including heating and air conditioning, diagnosing problems, disassembling units, cleaning, lubricating, repairing, and replacing parts.
Performs or assigns routine to difficult carpentry duties, including installation and repair of doors, doorjambs, moldings, hinges, door closers, locks, knobs, drywall or plaster repair, and painting.
Performs or assigns routine to difficult electrical duties, including inspecting and testing lighting, wiring and power circuits, and replacing faulty switches, lamps, and ballasts.
Performs or assigns routine to difficult plumbing duties, including unclogging sinks and toilets, repairing faucet assemblies, replacing washers, repairing or replacing pipes, and repairing fountains.
Interfaces with contractors and vendors, creating written specifications, securing bids for services, and negotiating with vendors for goods and services.
