About The Position

Cushman & Wakefield Services is looking for a hands-on Assistant Maintenance Manager to join our Travel Support Team! In this role, you'll travel to facilities across the U.S. to provide critical leadership support, help stabilize maintenance operations, fill leadership gaps, develop maintenance teams, and improve overall performance. This is an exciting opportunity for a maintenance leader who enjoys solving problems, adapting to new environments, and making an immediate impact. Requirements

  • 3+ years of maintenance leadership or supervisory experience required; 5+ years preferred.
  • Experience in an industrial, manufacturing, distribution, fulfillment, or similarly fast-paced environment.
  • Hands-on experience maintaining conveyors and/or robotics OR experience leading teams responsible for conveyor and robotic maintenance strongly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive and predictive maintenance practices.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems, including motors, sensors, pneumatics, and power transmission.
  • Strong leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability and willingness to travel approximately 80% throughout the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in industrial maintenance, Engineering, Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and support maintenance teams at assigned customer locations.
  • Help stabilize operations during leadership gaps, staffing shortages, and other critical business needs.
  • Assign and prioritize maintenance work and support preventive and predictive maintenance programs.
  • Coach, mentor, and develop maintenance team members.
  • Partner with site leadership, planners, customers, and other stakeholders to achieve operational goals.
  • Monitor maintenance performance and support key performance metrics.
  • Promote a strong Safety-First culture and ensure compliance with company and customer policies.
  • Support continuous improvement, maintenance standards, and work procedures.
  • Help ensure maintenance work meets established quality and safety standards.
  • Adapt quickly to changing site needs and provide leadership wherever support is needed most.
