About The Position

Join the A-Team at AmeriLux Family of Companies (AFoC) as an Assistant Machine Operator in our brand new manufacturing plant! This role offers a sign-on bonus of $1,250, paid out in increments over the first year. Starting pay ranges from $24-$34 per hour, depending on experience and shift. The position involves 12-hour shifts on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, with both day (5 AM - 5 PM) and night (5 PM - 5 AM) options available. Overtime opportunities are also available.

Requirements

Strong attention to detail
Ability to stand 12 hours consecutively
Ability to pull, lift, or carry at least 50 lbs
Ability to perform in a hot environment
Effective communication with team members

Responsibilities

Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and basic troubleshooting.
Perform quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
Package finished products accurately and meet production output goals.
Complete production documentation and report downtime, scrap, or defects.
Participate in training and support team development.
Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized workspace.
