This role assists the Location Manager in the coordination of operations and control activities within the location in a profitable manner. Under the direction of the Location Manager, the Assistant Location Manager trains, organizes, and directs employees to generate and increase profitable sales and adequate levels of service. This role also cooperates with other supervisory personnel to ensure overall company growth.

Requirements

  • Normally requires a high school diploma or the equivalent thereof.
  • 5 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and facilitate repair of facility infrastructure.
  • Maintain and facilitate repair of application equipment.
  • Assist the Location Manager in dispatching of products and services.
  • Assist in the mixing of fertilizer and chemical operations.
  • Monitor and control location expenses.
  • Maintain inventory levels within guidelines.
  • Maintain inventory in salable condition.
  • Control inventory shrinkage.
  • Monitor compliance of all safety activities and regulatory compliance.
  • Responsible for maintaining vehicles and equipment according to company standards.
  • Wear required company uniform and maintain a clean professional appearance.
  • Attend all required meetings and training programs, when required.
  • Perform public relations functions when assigned.
  • Ability to travel independently and overnight as needed.
  • Successfully adhere to safety rules and company policies and procedures. EHS, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures must be adhered to at all times.
  • All other duties as assigned.
