Requirements
- Minimum age 15
- Original Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening less than 6 months old for volunteers 18 years of age and older
- Minimum certificate of Bronze Cross and Emergency First Aid REQUIRED

- Minimum commitment of 4 months, 2 hours/week
Responsibilities
- Work directly with lifeguards and team leads to provide positive safe recreational swims for children, youth and adult
- Proactively interact with swimmers to assist their practice
- Supervise and ensure safety of all participants (rule enforcement, emergency procedure)
- Maintain pool area and deck cleanliness
- Greet all participants and guests with a smile
- Build positive relationships with YMCA staff, volunteers and members
- Maintain regular communication with Manager of Aquatics
- Complete all online trainings, program training and WHY School
