The Ball State University Department of History is seeking a digital historian with university teaching experience and experience with internships. Experience with public history is preferred for this nontenure line position. The selected candidate will commence in August and will be responsible for teaching undergraduate digital history and internship classes. Additionally, the candidate will be expected to contribute to the management of the history intern program. An ABD (All But Dissertation) candidate will be considered, with the expectation of obtaining a terminal degree within three years. Candidates must possess current authorization to be employed in the U.S. with employer sponsorship. The primary function of this role is to teach undergraduates how to utilize technology as an integral part of public history-based experiential education.
