About The Position

The University of Wyoming is seeking an Assistant Lecturer for its undergraduate nursing program in the Fay W. Whitney School of Nursing. This role involves teaching face-to-face didactic, clinical, and online courses. The position also includes supplemental responsibilities such as career advising to students, service to the school, college, and profession, and engaging in professional development. Requirements

  • Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
  • Eligible for unencumbered RN licensure in Wyoming.
  • Valid driver's license with a motor vehicle record (MVR) that is compliant with the University Vehicle Use Policy.
  • Eligible to work in the United States; sponsorship for work authorization or visas is not available.

Nice To Haves

  • Two or more years of acute care clinical experience.
  • Two or more years of teaching experience in nursing.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Experience supporting students in both academic and clinical settings.
  • Experience in rural healthcare education and practice.
