As an Assistant Kitchen Manager, you will play a crucial role in managing and directing the daily operations of the kitchen and function areas, ensuring the highest standards of quality and efficiency are upheld. This role is key in delivering exceptional dining experiences and driving operational excellence.

A minimum of 3 years of experience in the food and beverage and/or hospitality industry.
Proficient in using MS Office applications for effective communication and organization.
Must have a valid driver's license or reliable transportation.
Ability to stand for 8-10 hours and perform various tasks in a dynamic kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise and manage a team of 5-25 employees, guiding and supporting them in their roles to ensure excellence.
Maintain accurate daily food logs and ensure consistent preparation and service of food products according to the restaurant's standards.
Oversee the completion of line checks at the start of each shift, enforcing sanitary practices for food handling and kitchen cleanliness.
Manage employee performance, providing constructive feedback and necessary discipline, while fostering continuous improvement.
Assist in organizing private events, acting as a liaison between Events and Operations for seamless execution.
Foster the growth of kitchen staff by promoting their professional and managerial development.
Ensure proper receiving of products, efficient purchasing of supplies, and control portion quantities to minimize waste.
Work collaboratively with managers and suppliers to maintain effective communication and streamlined operations.
