About The Position

Carpe Diem Private Preschool is seeking an Assistant Infant Teacher to join their team. This is a part-time position with hours from 7 am to 12 pm. The role involves assisting with curriculum implementation, preparing learning materials, and supervising children to ensure a safe and positive learning environment. Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
6 months prior experience working in a certified child development center (1 year preferred)
Prior experience with the assigned age group
Specific requirements set by minimum state standards and/or accreditation
Ability to use standard office equipment such as a laptop computer and smartphone

Nice To Haves

Associate’s degree in early childhood development / CDA Certified preferred but not required

Responsibilities

Assist with the implementation of age-appropriate curriculum
Prepare and organize learning materials
Supervise children during all activities, including meals and naptime, to ensure a safe and positive learning environment
Help lead innovative learning activities that promote children’s development and growth
Ensure the safety and well-being of children at all times
Monitor children’s progress and development
Create a harmonious environment where children and fellow teachers enjoy coming to each day
