About The Position
The Goddard School® located at 50 Seaboldt Way, Chester Springs, PA 19425 is looking for a warm, dependable, and nurturing Assistant Infant Teacher to join our team! If you love baby giggles, tiny milestones, and being one of the first people to help a child feel safe and loved outside of home, this could be the perfect role for you. Our infant teachers do so much more than provide care. They build relationships, comfort little ones, celebrate first milestones, and create a calm, engaging environment where babies can explore and grow. You’ll work alongside two experienced Lead Teachers and a supportive team that values the important work you do every day.
Requirements
- A high school diploma is required.
- Previous 2 year minimum experience working with infants or young children is required
- You must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Meet all required state background check, education, experience, and credential requirements.
Nice To Haves
- An associate or bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education is preferred.

Responsibilities
- Help provide a loving, responsive, and nurturing environment for infants
- Build strong bonds with each child and respond to their individual needs and cues
- Assist with feeding, diapering, bottles, naps, and daily care routines
- Engage babies through talking, singing, reading, sensory experiences, and age-appropriate activities
- Support infants as they develop early social, emotional, physical, and cognitive skills
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe classroom
- Communicate with families about their child's day, routines, and milestones
- Work closely with the Lead Teacher to provide consistent care and supervision
- Follow health, safety, and state licensing requirements
