Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Some professional experience working in an infant classroom is required.
Patient, nurturing, dependable, and able to work well as part of a team.
Strong communication and organizational skills.

Nice To Haves

Associate's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Child Development Associate (CDA) credential preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist the Lead Teacher in providing a safe, loving, and developmentally appropriate classroom for infants.
Build positive, responsive relationships with infants and their families.
Support children's physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development through age-appropriate activities and interactions.
Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary classroom.
Follow all OCFS regulations, health and safety policies, and center procedures.
Work collaboratively with teachers and staff to ensure high-quality care throughout the day.
