Assistant Infant Teacher
About The Position
We are seeking Part-time Closer/Floater Teachers to join our team at New Horizon Academy in Johnston, IA! Must be able to work at least 2-3 hours each day until 6pm. The hourly wage range is $14.40-$15.75 DOE. Must be available to work any shift between 6:30am and 6:00pm. New Horizon Academy participates in the WAGE$ program. Teachers are also eligible for Child Care Assistance with the State of Iowa, which can cover up to 100% of the cost of childcare for those with children who will be attending our schools. - Meets or exceeds state qualifications for the listed position.
- Must meet position qualification requirements as outlined by the state department guidelines.
- Can satisfy the Applicant Background Study required by state regulations.
- Can provide proof of identity and eligibility to legally work in the United States.
- Has the physical abilities to perform the required job duties with or without accommodations.

- Previous childcare experience preferred, but not required.
