We’re looking for an assistant teacher to join our infant program. If you’ve worked with children before and want a steady, supportive place to grow, we’d like to talk. Your day starts with greeting families and helping infants settle in. You’ll check in with parents, note any updates, and make sure each child is comfortable as they begin their day. Throughout the morning, you’ll move through feeding, diapering, and play. Some babies will need quiet time, others will be ready to explore. You’ll help with simple activities like tummy time, songs, and sensory play, always keeping a close eye on safety and routines. Midday is a mix of bottles, naps, and keeping the room calm and clean. You’ll work closely with your lead teacher to stay on schedule and make sure each child’s needs are met. In the afternoon, you’ll help with more care routines, reset the classroom, and share updates with families at pickup—how they ate, slept, and what their day looked like. It’s a hands-on role. You’re on your feet, moving, lifting, and responding to what each child needs in the moment. The days are busy, but steady, and you’re always working as part of a team. The joy of childhood comes from those bright sparks of discovery -- moments that delight and surprise us. Your career at The Goddard School can be just as exciting. For more than 35 years, Goddard Schools have put each teacher at the heart of everything we do because teachers put each student at the heart of everything they do. The Goddard School trusts, empowers, and honors its exceptional educators. Develop your teaching skills in a vibrant and nurturing environment and make a difference in children's lives every day.
