About The Position

Provides clerical and administrative support to a departmental office or program. This role involves performing office duties in support of faculty, staff, and/or student efforts, including sending emails, data entry, and maintaining files. The position also requires gathering, compiling, and entering data, producing routine reports and documents, and maintaining tracking systems and logs. A key aspect of this role is supporting the Distance Education Instructional Design Team.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot basic technology issues.
  • Use a variety of spreadsheet, word processing, database, and presentation software.
  • Experience using video conferencing platforms.
  • Experience troubleshooting technical issues.
  • Must have reliable internet.
  • Must have a computer.
  • Work safely and follow safety rules. Report unsafe working conditions and behavior. Take reasonable and prudent actions to prevent others from engaging in unsafe practices.
  • Employees are required to maintain a domicile in the State of Texas while working for the college and throughout the duration of employment.
