About The Position

Austin Community College is a public two-year institution that serves a multicultural population of approximately 41,000 credit students each Fall and Spring semester.   • May also use social media, work with desktop publishing, and update webpages.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support to farm staff, perform daily farm tasks, assist with harvesting, planting, and growing vegetables.
  • Performs farm duties in support of faculty, staff, and/or student efforts
  • Gathers, compiles, and enters data, producing routine reports and documents.
  • Produces handouts, fliers, newsletters, brochures, manuals, and other documents.
  • Maintains tracking systems and logs.
  • Operates farm equipment such as tillers and compost.
