About The Position

JostensPIX is seeking a seasonal Assistant Hub Manager to join their fast-growing team in Philadelphia, PA. This role supports the Hub Manager with daily seasonal operations, coaches photographers, travels to local schools to ensure successful Picture Day execution, and assists with equipment management and team onboarding. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, passionate about customer experiences, and comfortable working in a fast-paced school environment. This is a seasonal position starting July 27th, 2026, with potential to extend into December.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED (must be 18+).
  • A reliable, insured vehicle and valid U.S. driver's license (use of public transportation is not permitted).
  • Willingness to start early (driving start times as early as 4 AM!) and occasional extended hours when travel is involved.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs. of camera equipment.
  • Ability to store camera equipment in home when not in use.
  • A cheerful, friendly personality—especially around kids.
  • Comfortable working in a school environment with children of all ages and abilities.
  • Strong communication, customer service, leadership, and tech skills.
  • Comfortable working independently and leading others in a fast-paced environment.
  • Travel to schools, as scheduled, for Picture Day events.
  • Comfortable working with computers/cameras and ability to learn new programs.
  • Grooming and professional appearance that reflects Jostens' standards.
  • Reliable cell phone and internet access.
  • Must reside in Philadelphia, PA or the surrounding cities.
  • May be required to complete additional background/health screenings as determined by state-specific policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Completed at least one full JPIX season as Photographer or Photo Team Lead and/or applied photography knowledge.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Hub Manager with daily seasonal operations.
  • Coach and support School Photographers during Picture Day events.
  • Travel to local schools to provide operational support and ensure successful Picture Day execution.
  • Transport, set up, and take down photography equipment at school locations.
  • Assist with equipment inventory, organization, and distribution.
  • Help onboard and train seasonal team members.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues in the field and provide solutions.
  • Build positive relationships with schools, photographers, and internal partners.
  • Use photo software and company technology to organize schedules and manage event information.
  • Perform photography duties as needed to support business needs.
