D1 Training Melbourne is looking for an Assistant Head Coach to help lead their coaching staff and deliver the best training experience in Melbourne. The role involves working alongside the Head Coach to coach group, team, and personal training sessions, mentor and develop the team of coaches, and ensure every session meets the D1 standard. This is a ground-floor leadership opportunity with a clear path to Head Coach and beyond as the company grows. The Assistant Head Coach will create a high-energy, motivating environment, teach and reinforce proper technique, speed, strength, and movement patterns for athletes ages 7 to adult, and modify exercises to meet each athlete's age, ability, and goals. They will also support the Head Coach in quality control, coach audits, and coaching feedback, build relationships with families, athletes, and teams, and ensure sessions start and finish on time. The role also focuses on reducing injury risk through smart coaching and movement quality, stepping in to lead the coaching staff in the Head Coach's absence, and representing D1 Training Melbourne with professionalism, enthusiasm, and integrity.
