About The Position

Assistant Group Leaders: After-School Programs Washington, D.C. These positions will start at the end of August, ahead of the school year, to allow ample time for training and classroom set-up Schedule Ranges: Monday – Friday | 3:00 pm– 6:30 pm, program/school dependent Part-Time | $20.00–$22.00 per hour, paid biweekly on Fridays About Us: Leading Edge Before and After School has locations nationwide in Colorado, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Washington, DC. Requirements

High School Diploma (required)
At least 1 year of experience working with children in any professional setting
Friendly, dependable, and ready to support wherever needed
A team player with great communication skills and a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Assist the Center Director & Group Leaders in delivering fun, age-appropriate activities
Help maintain a safe, structured, and supportive environment
Supervise students and engage with them positively
Support transitions, snack time, and enrichment activities
Foster strong relationships with students, families, and staff
