  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry products and work in coolers and freezers.

Responsibilities

  • Help oversee daily operations of the Grocery Department with a focus on customer service, sales, and department readiness.
  • Deliver friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable customer service and resolve customer concerns professionally.
  • Ensure shelves, displays, and aisles are clean, full, front-faced, and merchandised to company standards.
  • Assist with executing planograms, promotional sets, seasonal transitions, and weekly ad merchandising.
  • Assist with managing orders, inventory levels, product rotation, and backroom organization.
  • Assist with monitoring shrink and implementing procedures to reduce waste and loss.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, safety, and operational standards.
  • Assist with training, coaching, scheduling, and developing grocery associates while fostering a positive team environment.
  • Perform Grocery Department duties as needed and assume responsibility for department operations in the absence of the Grocery Manager.
