About The Position

We are hiring an Onsite Full-time Assistant Graphic Designer to join our Publicity Department. This position is primarily responsible for creating graphic design for publications, websites, and collateral for Westchester Country Club and assist in daily workings of the Publicity Department. This position also provides support to the Director of Publicity on various assignments, assisting with Member services.

Requirements

• Marketing / Graphic Design degree preferred
• Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Graphic Designer with previous luxury hotels or private Clubs preferred
• Ability to multitask and handle pressure in a professional manner
• A valid Driver’s license, as this position may require driving to supply stores and our Beach Club location, which is 2.5 miles from our Main Club location
• Mac system proficient
• Knowledge of InDesign
• Knowledge of Adobe Photoshop and iPhoto
• Knowledge Microsoft Office
• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator
• Strong time management Skills
• Detail oriented, with strong organizational skills
• Enthusiastic, friendly and positive energy
• Strong customer service skills
• Strong team player
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule according to business needs
• Occasionally walking (up to three hours per day), standing (up to three hours per day), and sitting (up to eight hours per day)
• Intermittent squatting, bending, twisting, and lifting (up to 25lbs.)

Responsibilities

• Production design for Westchester Country Club Magazine
• Design flyers, posters, and any event marketing materials
• Assist Committees with marketing material
• Assist Management with design projects and marketing materials
• Assist with photography of events and other activities as needed for marketing materials
• Create print and digital signage as needed and copy on large poster printer
• Design and create Westchester Country Club Handbooks
• Assist with Website design and maintenance
• Assist with Club email marketing and e-magazine
• Assist with Member Events as needed
• Miscellaneous design and printing assignments
• Additional duties as required
